This campaign was dedicated to improving the lives, communities, and businesses that call the 15th District home.
Regardless of the outcome of the election in 2018, this dedication continues with renewed spirit, vigor, and gumption. We all have a role to play in making certain all of our elected officials in both parties do their jobs and improve the lives of their constituents. I will be using a variety of methods to fulfill my obligations.
Currently, the country seems to be divided along both party and cultural lines. We must begin renewing the sense of solidarity that exists between one another in America.
It is only through seeing each other as Americans that we will begin working together again for the pursuit of a more perfect Union.
The Party over People philosophy is deeply flawed. I’ve never abided by it and never will.
When we vote for the Party instead of the Policies and the Person, we’ve shortchanged both the electoral process and thoughtful discourse while simultaneously promoting the maintenance of the status quo.
I’ve seen the status quo being protected for much of my life. It’s unacceptable. Our children and grandchildren are depending on us to do better than the generations before us.
Observance of and subservience to the failed policies of the last 50 years has led to a less educated public, subsequent generations with a more bleak economic outlook, the largest incarcerated population on the planet, and a country that is in serious disrepair.
I will never stop showing up, standing up, and speaking out on the issues of the day that will impact tomorrow. My parents raised me to fight for the benefit of others. That is what this campaign will continue to do.
